A Fresh Take on Builder Basic

This new home in a Milton subdivision began as a blank canvas. The homeowners wanted a landscape that felt polished and welcoming without requiring extensive upkeep. 

The design relies on a layered combination of evergreens to provide year-round colour, form, and structure with minimal maintenance. Strategic plantings of perennials and spring bulbs introduce softness and seasonal interest while keeping the garden simple and easy to maintain.

The expansive corner lot called for added privacy while also creating an opportunity to introduce depth and visual interest. The once-lonely spruce became a focal point, surrounded by a new garden with evergreens and a large sculptural boulder. A new fence adds privacy and softens the views of neighbouring properties. 

The thoughtfully designed foundation garden combines evergreens for year-round structure with layered seasonal plantings that bring colour, texture, and interest throughout the seasons. And the redesigned walkway completes the transformation, creating a grander and more welcoming approach to the home.
